How it Works

Every gun club differs from other clubs.  Enviro-Metal will work up a custom lead shot removal program for your gun club that is agreeable to you and that will meet your goals of generating thousands of dollars of revenue and the goal of cleaning up your club grounds by reducing the amount of lead shot in the soil with our state of the art lead shot removal techniques. 

We are also the only company who can provide our
reclamation services for Open Water, Wet Lands or Dry Land.

Here are our general procedure steps:

• Contact us. We’ll be glad to work with you to achieve your goals.
• Describe your gun club – how long has it been in use, how many members shoot, how often do you shoot, approx. how many targets are thrown annually, number of traps at your club, what is the terrain and soil type. Give us a call and we can help you work through these questions.
• Photos of your trap and skeet fields are very helpful. Try to show where the shot drops – up to 240 yards from the shooting positions.
• We evaluate your gun club’s lead shot recovery project.
• Enviro-Metal will visit & test your gun club’s shot fall field.
• We will work up a program for your club and present to your Board for review.
• We have a simple written agreement, so that everyone understands the project and the payout to your gun club.
• We will perform the lead shot recovery in such a way that it does not interfere with your shooting schedule.
• Upon receipt of payment from the foundry, Enviro-Metal will pay out the percentage to your club or deliver shot for your members to reload, as agreed.
• Upon completion of the recovery process, we will replace soil to shot field and replant grass as desired.
• We do NOT interrupt the normal day-to-day operation of your gun club as we perform our services.
• We can service pistol and rifle berms as well.
